The NHS Cervical Screening Programme is pleased to announce the release of an e-learning resource for cervical sample taker update training.  The resource is designed to meet the cervical sample taker 3 yearly update training requirements as set out in the NHSCSP guidance for the training of cervical sample takers.  To access e-learning for health care you need a free open Athens account.

Exciting Opportunity! NHS England funding programme of coaching for GPs (December 2017 - March 2018)

This coaching is fully funded, confidential, one-to-one, and tailored to your needs. This will be with highly experienced and qualified, professional coaches to help you think through where you are and where you want to be in today’s challenging and changing environment. This forward-looking, action-orientated, positive and personal approach will help you to identify goals for the next steps that can give you satisfaction and fulfilment, and support you to make them happen. 

The individual coaching will support you to:

            • Create space and time to stand back and think in a confidential environment

            • Gain personal insight to help you make decisions

            • Improve understanding of options available to you to move forward

            • Increase resilience

            • Learn powerful models and techniques to help achieve your goals

            • Feel better equipped to move forwards with confidence


Your commitment:

            • Three 90-minute one-to-one tailored coaching sessions, delivered either face to face or virtually. 2 sessions to be taken by 31st March 2018 and final session in April 2018.


What’s essential:

            • You want something to change (even if you’re not sure what)

            • You have an open mind and are willing to explore new ways of looking at things

  • Any changes to the National Immunisation Schedule/relevant legislation

5. Other disease risks including emerging diseases
